ABOUT THE POSITION
As an Editor, you will be supporting the customer success team, through accurate and timely editing of customer content, exclusively using AP style.

LEVEL
Intermediate Professional – at least 3.0 years of relevant experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for transforming writer-submitted content into polished, magazine quality content for our customers.

Your objective is to ensure that the highest quality content is submitted to our clients. You will ensure that customers’ assignment instructions and requirements are met, prior to submission. This includes optimizing the voice of the writing to reflect the customers’ content style guides.

The primary measures of success for Editorial team members are content quality, customer satisfaction and editorial Upgrade to see actual info is also expected that you provide feedback and recommendations for operational and process improvement to the customer success team. Over time, it is expected that you become an editorial subject matter expert for one or more industries.

A great editor could be described as having superior command of the US English language, a mastery of AP Style editing, a drive to expand their knowledge and skill set, all while consistently performing at a high level of achievement.

Upon completion of your initial training on our cloud-based, technology platform, you will:
• Edit blogs, whitepapers, case studies and other types of content
• Review content from over 100 different industries and segments, developing a subject matter expertise in one or more
• Provide writers with feedback and suggestions for improvement
• Provide input on writer quality
• Recommend platform and process improvements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor degree in journalism or related field and at least 3.0 years of AP style editing experience
• Complete command of US English, including word choice, colloquialisms, and style
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• MS Office experience, including MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience working with HTML editors, meta descriptions, keywords and titles
• Experience with a CRM (Hubspot or similar) is preferred

HOURS
40 hours per week. Personnel will have the choice to work either of these two schedules:
• US schedule: 9AM Central Standard Time (-06:00 GMT) to 6PM, with 1 hour for lunch.
• Manila schedule: 6AM Philippine Standard Time (+8:00GMT) to 3PM, with 1 hour for lunch.
