EMPLOYMENT:
Freelance
Will be required to be available for 10 hours a week when work is assigned and will need to asses and evaluate the project within 2-3 days from the initially assigned date. Should you be able to adapt to the work efficiently, we will notify you of potential increases in workload and/or hours.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our team is in search of a Shopify Developer to modify all front and back-end developments, including but not limited to, web coding for site design optimizations and page creation. The person we are looking for must be a seasoned developer who can take the lead in the full configuration of our Shopify store.

As a Shopify Developer, you are expected to implement all web developments, including testing, debugging, and optimization. Must be able to analyze and propose website improvement where needed. You must have effective written and verbal communication skills to relay prepared implementations smoothly and in a timely manner to the team.

As a Shopify expert, you must have advanced problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail. You must have demonstrated skills in building, launching, and maintaining Shopify stores as backed by your expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as well as Shopify’s liquid templating and theming system. The success of the Shopify Developer will be measured by an increase in web traffic and sales, positive customer feedback, and team satisfaction based on an effective Shopify front and back-end implementations.

The main tasks we are looking for are to:
• Analyse and advise of potential website improvements
• To have a developer available for any trouble shooting, problem solving or update implementations on the website
• As the business grows, in the future, we will be looking to apps and other functions built directly into the website.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Spearheads all front and back-end developments with our Shopify store that will successfully drive more traffic on our site and increase customer satisfaction.
• Plans, executes and manages site testing, launching, optimization, and maintenance.
• Creates perceptive and responsive pages for desktop, tablet, and mobile use.
• Resolves web performance issues and prevents future recurrence.
• Maintains close contact with supervisors on design changes and other pertinent plans.
• Submits regular reports if and when necessary.
• Improves customer satisfaction through quality web experience.
• Designs and suggests optimization on overall web Upgrade to see actual infoSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Performs duties punctually and with accuracy.
• Leads front and back-end Shopify developments.
• Has an eye and skill for high-converting web designs.
• Maintains close contact with supervisor to report updates and potential issues.
• Provides keen insights on monthly reports, if and when necessary.
• Guides the team in implementations, if and when necessary.
• Collaborates and takes learning and working initiatives to better the quality of outputs and the workspace.
• Upholds business information with utmost respect.
• Presents finalized ideas, reports, and concepts in meetings or emails.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Effective written and spoken communication skills.
• 1-4 years relevant work experience with demonstrated success in Shopify or Shopify Plus development.
• In-depth knowledge on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and DOM.
• Experience with dependency management tools (Browserify, NPM, etc.) and build tools (roll up and web pack).
• Must be able to meet deadlines without compromising the quality of work.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and Docs.
• Must be willing to learn new software and applications required for work.
• You will be required to use Asana and TimeCamp for project management. Current knowledge of these applications is not required.
