Our clients are nationwide and have high expectations. Politeness is key. You must be able to handle criticism as well as communicate well with customers. We are currently rebranding under a new name, print facility, and website. I am looking for someone to keep up with our growth for the upcoming year. We are in a slow season for holiday’s so it is perfect time to train and get our site improved to handle next year’s demand.

Once products are designed, you will have to move the order through stages of the system:
Proofing - you will need to upload proofs to our site using Filezilla. If you do have web or hosting experience that is a plus but not required, as I can teach you the basics to proof out orders.
Print imposition - Each file when approved must then be impositioned to fit on a 12x18 or 13x19 sheet. We can train you on this but knowledge of proper bleeds, safety margins, crop marks would be helpful.
Variable Impositioning - This is putting numbers, barcodes, and pictures into a print job where it pulls variable data from an excel/csv so the final layout all has different numbering or identification qualities like for ID Badges. We use Fusion Pro software to do this.

If you think you're interested and have the required skills, I have a couple sample projects we can start with to evaluate your skills and what type of work is expected.

I must reiterate; this is a position where you assist customers and help them with their specific design needs. Customer Service is key and we must be polite and helpful with all of our clients. Many of them are promoters or company owners and have a lot going. They come to us for help and nothing is more satisfying than making a perfect product you can be proud of.
I personally get many ideas and have a lot of professional contacts that I want to go after for sales but that requires showing some them what we can do for them before we can make a big order to close. I need someone with a modern eye while keeping things clean and simple.

I'm going to give you 3 projects similar to what you'll be doing with on a weekly basis. We currently are in our slow season until February so I want to use this time to train you before we had our busy season. Sample projects, not intended to be used, unless they are really spectacular, there might be an exception, in which case a $50 signing bonus will be attached with hiring

First project will be a pretty simple badge. An order from a previous client that we've done for a customer. I'm going to send you the files as we get them uploaded from the customer with the directions. I want to see how you can execute what the customer asked for and what type of product you Upgrade to see actual infocond is a branding task. I will include label variations a client has used over the past year. I'm also attaching a PDF all the competing Brands and their packaging that they carry. We do a lot of white label branding do give other companies a whole product line. I want you to take the past examples, and with influence from the competitor examples, develop a new tincture label and gummy label for this company. Both labels must look consistent and if they're in the same product family. Anything that you feel needs to change, feel free If you feel that that need to change the logo to make it complete, then you are welcome to do so if it makes the product better.

Last Project, I want a simple logo for a mock company. You will have free reign on this so I can really see your creative style.

The best design will receive will receive a $50 stipend and a full time position with Upgrade to see actual info. Our current store is Upgrade to see actual info but we will be changing at the end of the month.
