Who We Are
Since 2009. AMV Holdings has been a leader in the vaping and electronic cigarette industry through assisting smokers find a better alternative. Based outside of Charlotte, NC and operates several businesses, but most notably we have one of the largest footprints of vape stores in the US operating under the Madvapes brand (Upgrade to see actual info). Our customers are generally former smokers looking to improve their lives through alternative means of nicotine consumption. We have over 100 locations across 15 states as well as Upgrade to see actual info addition to our retail business, we operate a manufacturing lab and distribution business.
What We Need
? We are seeking a virtual assistant for our ecommerce platform to help us improve and maintain our Prestashop ecommerce site and maximize the marketing opportunity of this channel.
? Position is considered an integral part of the Ecommerce team.
? Successful applicant will be honest, extremely organized, and detail-focused.
? You will report directly to the CFO, Head of IT and our Ecommerce Associate
? We are willing to invest in your professional development with training to help strengthen your skills.
What You’ll Be Doing
? Add new skus/products and ensure product graphics are optimized
? Utilize google analytics data to optimize and improve site metrics
? Identify site issues and improve
? Redesign and update pages as directed
? Assist in digital marketing
? Update themes, wireframe and add content as needed
? Optimize mobile site
? Pulling data for reports to ensure that executive team gets regular updates on important company metrics
What We’re Looking For
? Time commitment
O 40+ hours per week
O Flexibility with actual start/end/break times for work allowed, but need to be available by phone/email Monday - Friday from 7A-3:00P Eastern Time USA
O 100% focused on our business – no side jobs
? Experience
O Minimum of 2 years of experience working remotely for a company in the USA
O Minimum of 3 years working as a Web design and development, with some graphic design component
? Skills and Technical Knowledge
O Advanced knowledge with Prestashop with additional experience with magento and/or shopify a plus
O Strong PHP knowledge
O Ability to produce error-free coding and present their results
O Ability to quickly learn new software programs
O Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
? Personality & Approach to Work
O Incredibly organized and detailed
O Ability to meet deadlines
O VERY proactive thinker
