Wordpress Front end developer that wants to learn and grow

You don't just know wordpress, you LOVE wordpress.

You can custom code pages but are comfortable using builders as well. You can troubleshoot issues like a boss and love to figure out why something isn't working quite the way the documentation says it should. You can take a PSD and make it into a webpage or builder page. You want to get even better at all of these things and learn more about programming.

We are looking for a Wordpress Ninja to join our team of 13 superb people all around the world. We have a programming team of 4 but need a Wordpress Ninja (you??) to join them.

Boy, have you hit the jackpot.

You'll find a handful of companies in Toronto who even have an idea of what it is we do. Marketing automation is a fairly new industry, really gaining popularity in only the last 10 years. You cannot learn what you will in this role in school. Even if you were to enroll in school, you would learn the Upgrade to see actual info this role, you will get real hands-on learning, every day. I am a bit biased, but I think it's a ton of fun too. I was never a fan of essays and reports on how I "might" do something. Let's try it and test it !

This is a junior role on our programming team for someone who wants to learn from the leads and master their Upgrade to see actual info this role you will learn about Wordpress websites, PHP, Javascript, Jquery, Mysql, CSS, plugin developmnenmt, remarketing, choose your own adventure marketing, optimizing websites for conversions, membership sites, email marketing automation, sales copy, backend automated systems, facebook ads, sales funnels, design and much more.

The ideal person is very detailed oriented that likes brain teasers and logic problems. This person can figure things out on their own and enjoys doing so. *This person is a stickler for accuracy.*

Can splice a PSD to a webpage using CSS or a builder

Nice to have:

Infusionsoft or other relevant CRM/Newsletter software experience
Testing experience (would be nice but not needed)
Graphic design (would be nice but not needed)
Wordpress plugin development (would be nice but not needed)
Wordpress theme development (would be nice but not needed)

*What this role entails:*

We meet on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to go over your tasks. We have an internal company chat for any communication between these meetings. During our meetings, we go over what is expected of you over the course of the next week. You are responsible for getting it done by the deadline or before we meet next. At the next meeting, we go over the previous work. We then go over what needs to be done next and train you on how to do Upgrade to see actual infoetings are held during business hours in EST. You are required to be available for 4hours or more during 9am - 5pm EST.

You will be asked to give availability for when you will typically work. This allows us to plan for when you will be able to complete tasks and if we have urgent tasks if you can do them within the next day or so.

We encourage staff to follow where their curiosity leads them. This leads to more enjoyment of the work and a better work product. Everyone is happy!
