Hey! I am looking for a talented Video Editor / Story Teller who will also be my Personal Assistant and work with me for a long time (not looking for a one time gig only)
In order to apply you will have to complete this task, if you do not, you will not be eligible for this position.
But first, a little bit about me. My name is Samer Brax, I sell products on Amazon and make money online in other areas as well. I have a YouTube channel where I document my journey and teach people:
This is where I need your help. Assistance in daily small tasks to keep my life organized + super smooth and creative edits as you can see in my past videos.
The perfect candidate:
- Excellent Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro editing skills
- After Effects skills are a MAJOR plus
- Story teller -- I will need your creativity to put these videos together
- Extremely organized
- Eager to learn and improve, and will solve tasks and learn new skills before being told to do so
- Wants a long-term job and will bring their own opinions and ideas -- I'm always eager for new creative improvements, so I'll be always waiting for your criticism
- Graphic Design - Not necessary but MAJOR plus
- Product Photography - Not necessary but will help your application
So here is the task: re-create one of my old videos and improve it
- Download the raw files from here:
- Edit the video to re-create this old video of mine:
- Add a little bit of subtle color grading to improve the viewer experience
Once you are done please send your video through a dropbox or drive link with the header "Editor/Assistant Application" to this
Again if you do not complete the first task, you will not be eligible, HOWEVER, if you do complete it, I truly appreciate your efforts and you are more than likely to be chosen for the next phase of the application :)
