JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Data & Key Entry EXTRAORDINAIRE with a keen attention to detail!

We are looking for an experienced Data Entry Specialist with expertise in being the link between paper information and computer data. We are a research company that specializes in presenting our clients with as clean of data as humanely (and technologically) possible! And we need you to help us do that!

The typical work duties are:

Admin
• Keep organized and up-to-date workflow documentation
• Excellent knowledge of Google Docs and Microsoft Excel & Word
• Experience with ABBYY FlexiCapture a HUGE PLUS!

Data Entry
• Adhere to a specific set of data entry instructions for each individual project
• Responsible for entering data into databases quickly and accurately
• Execute data checks to identifying potential data problems due to transcription, keying, or recording errors
• Understand the English language so that you can “fill in the blanks” when handwriting is hard to read

Data Quality Verification
• Practice extreme attention to detail
• In fact, when applying for this job – you must put the words “Attention to Detail” in the subject line in order to be considered for the position
• Analyze exception reports for errors and reconcile
• Track and coordinate with production staff to resolve data problems
• When necessary, resolve data quality problems by identifying root causes and suggesting appropriate process design improvements.
• Understand and use a multitude of different excel functions to be able to filter out errors.

Survey Artwork Proofing
• Assess and analyze survey artwork to make sure that all necessary artwork components listed in quality sheet are present.
• Track and coordinate with production staff to resolve artwork problems

• Flawless written communication in English for our US-based customers
• Be a problem solver! To really excel in this position you’ll need to possess the ability to not only see that “all the pieces of the puzzle” are put together correctly, but also be able to figure out WHY!
• Be EXTREMELY attentive to details with consistent 100% ERROR-FREE execution (seriously, if you often make mistakes due to lack of attention to detail, please do not apply)

Job Requirements
• Computer Skills: Data entry specialists work with computers. Understanding how to use a keyboard, typing, as well as computer programs like spreadsheets and Word documents is imperative.
• Home office: high speed internet + back-up internet + privacy (office/room with no background noise)
• Good Vision: Being able to see well and read information that might not be well written is key.
• Time Management: Speed is of the essence for data entry specialists. Being able to manage how much time is spent on a project is important. Type speed should be a minimum of 50 wpm.
