About Us:

We are in the coaching and consulting space for the fitness industry and are looking for an Accounting and Collections Specialist to handle all difficulties both internal and for our members. We run an online mentoring business with clients all over the world and a team that spans Philippines, Australia, and the United States.

Summary:

The position is responsible for general bookkeeping and accounting services and requires navigating and managing XERO and Google Spreadsheets. The role also requires handling daily tasks that include but not limited to resolving member related accounts and other issues. Acts as the liaison between the business and members and manages overdue accounts. CPA background or extensive experience in accounting is preferred for this role to ensure quality reports are delivered on Upgrade to see actual infosential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing balance sheets, budget, financial forecasting, income statement, bookkeeping, journal entries, taxation, inventories, auditing, data entry and tracking payments.
• Responsible for updating and managing the company accounts on a weekly basis and reconcile monthly bookkeeping to ensure cash flow and budget targets are being met.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate records of financial transactions. Balances member accounts by reconciling entries.
• Responsible for reaching out to members to collect payment for overdue bills, subscriptions, or other payments.
• Resolves member-billing problems through e-mail and phone communication and rescues account receivable delinquency, applying good customer service in a timely manner.
• Making outbound collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations.
• Maintains member accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
• Develops a system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
• Attends meetings with client and different departments to discuss updates, progress, evaluation results, immediate issues and action plans.
• Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Minimum Requirements:
• Strong Computer skills, including experience with XERO, Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Gmail.
• Data management and organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks, while maintaining member focus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate information to members through email and over the phone.
• High level of integrity, work ethic, autonomy, professionalism and self-motivation
• Analytical and strategic problem solver who is comfortable making decisions
