We are looking to add an experienced quickbooks bookkeeper to the team of a growing Australian Film and Video Production Company. We work with online Entrepreneurs and marketers to create quality video products for their businesses.

We love what we do and encourage a culture of creativity and fun. Being Australian, we don't take ourselves too seriously!

The successful applicant will be required to have the following skills:

- Must have a thorough working knowledge of quickbooks online.
- Must have a thorough understanding of Australian GST laws and practices.
- A thorough working knowledge of double entry accounting.
- Good problem solving abilities.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.

The successful candidate will perform the following duties:

- Weekly bookkeeping using quickbooks online.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of all accounts.
- Deliver monthly financial reports to the owner.
- Work with, and deliver financial reports to, our Australian accountants as necessary.
- Prepare information for lodging quarterly BAS statements.
- Assist to setup an efficient bookkeeping system for management of all accounts and receipts.

This position would suit a freelance bookkeeper and will require approximately 5-10 hours per week for general bookkeeping, plus additional time for monthly report preparation.

For the right applicant, we hope to expand the position to include additional duties such as payroll and additional financial responsibilities.
