JOB OVERVIEW

Seeking a rockstar technical virtual assistant and online marketing project manager excited to be part of a movement to educate and shift public awareness of shamanism and sacred plant medicines. You will be responsible for making sure managing a growing platform that includes a podcast, blog, YouTube channel, and periodic Internet marketing launches with joint venture partners. Your primary role will be to ensure that marketing launches are on track, sales funnels are working, JV partners have everything they need, and content is QA’d and publishes on time.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

You are fanatical about keeping projects on track and meeting launch deadlines. You are a self-motivated, GSD problem solver who has attention to detail and doesn’t consider a job done until it is QA’d and working.

Your role will be to manage a variety of marketing projects and ensure that team members deliver their work on time, or diving in yourself, so the project does not stall.

You have excellent communication skills, and are able to coordinate the actions of various team members, as well as external partners with ease, in order to ensure that marketing launches succeed.

Bonus points if you have existing network of web service providers you can tap into in order to get smaller jobs turned around quickly, such as banners, video & audio editing, copywriting etc.


SOFTWARE PROFICIENCY
You must be adept at navigating the digital landscape and understand the language of the web. This means you are comfortable getting into new web application, because ultimately they all follow similar logic.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be overseeing 2 existing team members who take care of 75% of all tasks given to them. It currently consumes a great deal of my time to go back and forth with them on getting the remaining 25% done, and ensuring that web pages look good and funnels are working. I hope to pass this important task to my rockstar project manager.

Here are the core responsibilities for this position:

Manage WordPress website development. You must be familiar with Wordpress, and know the basics of creating blog posts, pages, and creating page layouts using drag and drop builder themes. You must also understand the basic principles of good web development, such as conversion optimization, site speed and SEO (or be passionate about learning).

Ensure that marketing and sales funnels work. This ensuring that pages are redirecting correctly, the shopping cart works, the CTA button is above the fold, Facebook pixel is placed, metadata has been created, etc.

Managing video & audio production. Managing the podcast production process & QAing the end result, including the webpages where the show notes are published.

Answer Customer Service Requests on Zendesk. You are attentive to the needs of customers, and skilled at making them feel heard and understood. You respond to their individual needs, without relying excessively on cut and paste answers.

To see if working together is a fit, we will work together on a trial basis for 4 weeks. This will then transition to part-time work of 20 hours a week for 8 weeks. As the business grows, full time employment may be offered.
