JOB OVERVIEW

Here at Host Liverpool, we provide homes for short stay guests via platforms like AirBnB, Upgrade to see actual info, TripAdvisor, Expedia and HomeAway.

But we do much more than that. We want our guests, clients, staff and strategic partners to enjoy their experience with us and understand that we're serious about goals and standards too. We think that an efficient, honest and well-run system will create a rewarding experience for all and we're currently looking for two operations managers who take pride in getting things done efficiently and properly. We hope one of these could be you!

First and foremost, you MUST be experienced in using Asana. Your key roles in Asana will be:

- Creating processes and rules which can run by themselves and need minimal input from you. We would audit these together on a regular basis.
- Making sure all of our teams are communicating effectively
- Creating Standard Operating Procedures
- Auditing (rules, procedures, feedback, training, compliance, systems)
- Creating a process by which our KPIs can be measured
- Creating a process where the performance of all team members can be measured, including your own
- Creating training materials (lists on Asana and instructional videos)
- Scribing (on Asana) whilst contributing to weekly operations meetings
- Being proactive about the progress and productivity of yourself and other team members
- Delegating tasks effectively and gaining commitment of team members
- Solving technical issues and implementing workable solutions when any of our systems fail, or are down
- Promoting a culture of accountability, ownership and willingness to succeed through further learning
- Working in an organised way with clear emphasis on deadlines and the need to track and quantify performance

Your spoken and written English should be exceptional, your communication style should be friendly,
empathetic and approachable, yet confident, assured and logical. You should also be able to handle arithmetic on the spot, and have a sound understanding of numbers, statistics, logic and algorithms.

You will also have the following attributes:

- Strong technical problem-solving ability
- Keen interest in technology, software and solutions
- Ability to work both independently and as part of the wider team
- Flexibility
- Managing staff rota
- Recruitment
- Excellent customer service
- Messaging and communicating with our guests
- Understand the role of all team members
- Working actively, using initiative
- Identifying and solving small issues now so that they don’t become a bigger problem later
- Understanding the sales process
- Process direct bookings and payments
- Secure repeat direct bookings
- Understand basic bookkeeping

Previous experience of the following programs/apps:
- Asana (MUST be experienced)
- Guesty (training provided)
- Trello
- G-Suite Apps (calendar, drive, sheets etc.)

It’s important that you understand this role involves holding other people accountable for their work. The admins we already have working for us have their own job roles, and part of your initial training will be to understand and be able to do exactly what they do. This will provide the foundation upon which you create the structures and systems around it.

We’re looking for someone who’s responsive, committed, reliable, trustworthy and places a high value on confidentiality and security. You must have the ability to remain confident, calm and quick under pressure and use initiative and common sense to achieve the goals of the business. A strong emphasis on systemisation, communication and written English will form a key part of your skill base and previous experience of Asana will be crucial.

We're a fast-growing and ambitious company, and we're looking for similarly driven, motivated and happy staff to join our team!

We are advertising for the following shift patterns (UK time):

Mon - Fri, 08:30 - 18:00 (47.5 hours) - Weekday operations (more consolidation work)
Fri - Mon, 08:30 - 18:00 (38 hours) - Weekend operations (more customer service work)
