JOB OVERVIEW

We are a furniture ecommerce and retail company based in New Zealand.

About us: Urban Sales is an online store for Kiwis who love stylish, multifunctional furniture and creative home design. We’re passionate about big ideas for small spaces (and big spaces too). Everything we offer is stylish and versatile, designed with urbanites in mind. We believe good design should always be practical, fun and affordable.

We are looking for a long-term full time (40hours) Ecommerce Assistant to join our team.


Main Responsibilities:

1. Update and maintain the products/categories information (product listings)

2. Campaign Support – support the marketing manager to update the prices and upload the assets to owned platforms (website, email, social media, etc.)

3. Understand the webstore processes and procedures from end to end and be able to support the marketing manager as required

4. Support the operational team on various tasks upon request, data entry, shipping consignment creation, customer emails support etc

5. SEO, PPC, google adwords


Experience required:

- You should have at least 2 years experience working in an ecommerce or related jobs in the digital spaces

- Prior experience in e-Commerce or category merchandising management

- Excellent English communication skills (writing most important)

- Experience in Opencart or similar ecommerce shopping carts system is preferred

- Experience in SEO, PPC, google adwords are preferred.

1. Attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs. You must be a detail-oriented person, is able to follow standardized processes and focusing on details

2. Team Player. We are looking for a long-term team member rather than a freelancer temporarily alleviating manpower shortage. You will join a challenging team with great opportunities to learn from each other.

3. Reliable, excellent work ethic and can-do attitude.

4. Highly organised and confident in Microsoft word and excel, Google docs.

5. Passion for the furniture and homeware industry

5. A fast learner and an excellent executer.


Working Hours

- This is a full-time role

- All our online staff works from 10:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday New Zealand time. To be able to do this job, you must work during these hours together with the team

- You should be able to start immediately, no later than 15th of April.
