JOB OVERVIEW

Based in the UK we are a retail company that manufactures and sells own branded products through online marketplaces across the globe.


TASKS
We are looking for a Executive assistant who will work closely with the CFO to assist with the general administration and financial working with accounting software XERO and payment providers Payoneer, Paypal, Transferwise, OFX and others…


BOOKKEEPING
- Bookkeeping in XERO
- Processing ReceiptBank transactions
- Reconciling all bank / credit card transactions
- Querying unreconciled transactions
- Working with the sales team to create sales invoices and monitoring payment status
- Working with the purchasing team to log purchase invoices and payments
- Preparing monthly reports
- Coordinating with our accountant to match tax / VAT filings
- Inventory and financial analysis as and when necessary


ADMINISTRATION
- Assist with general reporting and other admin tasks
- Assisting with recruitment of VA's and Account Manager's


SKILLS
Must have:
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, tables)
- Wants to work independently towards goals, does not want to be spoon-fed and figures out the best way him/herself but speaks up if support is necessary.
- Positive, “can do” attitude
- Understands that efforts don’t count - only results
- Able to think and communicate in a structured manner

Good to have:
- Good understanding of the tax and accounting regulation in the UK / USA
- Chartered Public Accountant Certification (CPA)
- XERO certification

EXPERIENCE
Must have:
- Min 3 years working experience with XERO
- Min 3 years experience in bookkeeping

Good to have:
- Accounting experience for UK company
- Online marketplace experience (Amazon, eBay etc..)
- Budget and cashflow forecasts
