Are you an expert web developer who specializes in WordPress?

We are a busy website design and development business looking for an experienced web developer who can jump in and help us build well-functioning websites using WordPress as a CMS. We’re looking for someone who loves working in the code and has a solid handle on SEO structure and website performance. This position is intended to be long-term for the right candidate. If you are a master with PHP, HTML5, CSS/SASS, Javascript, jQuery and general responsive design patterns then this could be a good fit for you.

Required skills:
- PHP (Essential. Must have ability to write from scratch as needed);
- Wordpress (advanced customization and theme building);
- Javascript and jQuery (write from scratch);
- HTML/CSS;
- SASS;
- Experience with BootStrap or other front-end frameworks;
- Custom creation of custom post types, taxonomies, shortcodes, walker menus, etc;
- Hosting setup (Most have ability to create databases using MySql and work with phpMyAdmin in cPanel to import/export) ;
- Ability to effectively manage a website build from start to finish;
- General graphic design capabilities
- Strong understanding and care of user experience;
- Adept with eCommerce shop setups, specifically WooCommerce

Super Plus (not required, but awesome):
- Adept with Shopify and Liquid templating system;
- Skill with a front-end JS framework, like React, Vue, Angular;
- Familiar with BEM naming convention;
