Supply Chain Specialist

The Supply Chain Specialist will look after the effective and efficient planning of all brands which includes all processes of planning. This position will work with the Planning & Ecomm groups assisting in assessing current Inventory Levels for all SKUs, reviewing & checking on existing Purchase Order requirements, confirming promise dates and ensuring we have coverage for all SKUs. He/she will also be working together with the Distribution Planner and providing assistance in checking Inbound Deliveries, Outbounds from factories, Slow Moving and Obsolete SKU & Inventory level Upgrade to see actual infoecking Inventory Levels for appropriate carrying levels at all 3 Pls will also be an area of responsibility (East Coast 3 PL, West Coast 3 PL, Amazon Low Inventory & Out of Stocks on Seller Central, Jersey City Stock Levels (minimal) and all other Order Fulfillment Points.

The role will be more focused on Distribution/Product Deployment, transport movement of product from Port to 3 PL and 3 PL to Amazon Distribution Centers.

The role will also ensure the effective communication to the Ecomm Group when it comes to new SKUs being added to the Line, old SKUs under phase out, SKUs being eliminated 100%…..such that the Ecomm team can update the Inbound Order Accumulation points of Amazon, Shopify & Etsy with timely information. With the expansion of our the product line, this will become an area of focus as well due to the sheer volume of SKUs involved.

Special Skillsets – Analytical abilities, familiar with Excel spreadsheet creation and applications. Preferably has a background in transport & Logistics & Freight Broker interface, Customs interface Proven ability to work with multiple functions in a diverse small business environment. Excellent attitude about handling all aspects of varied workload, willing to meet the challenge and contribute new ideas to the existing Upgrade to see actual infocation: Associates Degree or some college preferred.
