JOB OVERVIEW

I'm not sure if it'll be the best role - but it got your attention:) But this is a simple (mostly data entry, admin and research) yet long-term role where you'll be looked after really well. We are a growing recruitment agency in Australia that's looking for a long term VA to help with a lot of admin tasks and then if you have skills with other things. This is a very dynamic role and will be suited for someone that's enthusiastic about learning, developing themselves and earning above and beyond just a normal wage for those that prefer to be rewarded based on their results.

To begin with some of your responsibilities will include:

• Posting ads up on various job boards via our CRM system
• Monitoring the positioning of those ads and recycling them to other categories and editing them to improve their performance
• Scouring from job boards and individual websites and recording job ads advertised directly by the company into an excel spreadsheet
• Formatting CV’s based on our template
• Updating the candidate database with notes, documents etc...and making sure all the details are up to date in the database.
• Researching new clients we can approach and recording all the information onto the database.
• Preparing blurbs and notes on a candidate ready to be sent to a client
• Researching potential candidates via linkedin and other databases and connecting with them and sending them emails
• Researching what’s happening in the industry and writing a summary for the team
• Building our database in Mailchimp or similar email marketing campaign software

Desirable (if you can do it it will be a bonus):

• Researching interesting topics for accountants and writing some blog posts
• Managing and improving the website (so a bonus if you are good in wordpress) and social media profile of the company
• Filtering, monitoring and responding to email
• Potentially doing preliminary interviews or email correspondence with candidates and clients
• Do follow ups with candidates and clients.
• Personal tasks like making purchases and making booking online
• Various ad hoc requests – potentially some bookkeeping and preparing invoices

You will need to be/have:

- Available 930am-530pm Sydney time - Monday to Friday - actually be working efficiently during that time otherwise you will not last
- Start immediately
- Have excellent English skills (written and verbal)
- Reliable and fast internet connection
- Loyal and honest - if you are dishonest this will not work and I will find out straight away - be honest and I will look after you.
- Really organised and efficient
- Keen to learn and develop yourself
- Have a lot of initiative and ability to come up with fresh ideas to attract candidates
- Results driven
- Mailchimp or other email manager (eg ActiveCampaign) and social media/google adword marketing experience


If you additional skills such as the ones below then even better but not necessary:
- Recruitment/HR experience
- website development/wordpress experience
- understanding of the accounting profession (ie - accounting firms and how they work) and have some background in accounting.
- graphic design

I'm open to part-time or full time and salary is negotiable.
