- A full website development process that includes discovery, design and development

Impulse Impressions is looking for a motivated individual who is skilled in WordPress design and development that is up for becoming part of the team for long term growth.

We primarily build our client websites using a page builder called Beaver Builder and there is sometime some additional custom css and functions that need to be also added.

Monthly tasks include:

- Manage monthly software updates of client websites (WordPress)
- Manage monthly support requests from clients (through support ticket center)
- Creating mood boards and branding style guidelines for new client projects
- Wireframing
- Develop website designs for multiple pages using Photoshop
- Cloning and migrating websites between hosting server accounts
- Applying designs to WordPress websites using Beaver Builder for new client projects
- Customising WordPress themes (GeneratePress or Genesis) when required through css and functions
- Apply new plugin features to client websites (WordPress)
- Work to resolve issues related to WordPress websites and client hosting
- Assist in maintaining client’s website speed performance and security
- Testing functionality and responsiveness of websites to confirm that they are ready to be launched to the live environment

Qualities we are looking for:

- At least 3+ years experience designing and developing WordPress websites.
- A free thinker, willing to look for answers.
- Confidence in coding HTML5, CSS3, PHP and JavaScript.
- Fully understands responsive coding.
- A team player who is happy working in a small team of 2-3 people.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in cross-browser compliance issues.
- Experience in web hosting performance and security issues.
