JOB OVERVIEW

Hello,

Our company is looking for a highly organized, detail oriented, logical person to come work with us and help organize/perform a number of administrative/customer service related tasks in the business.

It's really important that you are comfortable using Microsoft Office Google Docs because we do a lot of our organizing using Microsoft Office and/or Google Docs.

It's also important that you are familiar with Shopify, the ecommerce store builder. One of your responsibilities will be to input tracking numbers into Shopify, find customer orders and provide order information to them, input product descriptions, insert images, and manage other aspects of the Shopify store. One of the most important things you will be doing is fulfilling orders with the Oberlo Software. This is a very detail oriented process and will require you to be very organized and able to spot any inconsistencies between Oberlo orders and Shopify Orders.

Finally it's important that you have experience using Facebook as you may manage some company Facebook pages.

In addition to the above, you will need to be comfortable learning how to use new software and technologies because you will need to learn how to use our project management system.

If you do not consider yourself comfortable with technology, this position is probably not for you because you will be utilizing many online tools as soon as you start and as our company expands you will be required to learn to use new ones.

If you do not consider yourself a detail oriented person, this position is probably not for you. We need to have very high accuracy when it comes to inputting tracking numbers and responding to customer messages.

We need someone who is detail oriented and consistently on top of the incoming messages and order information. If you are prone to letting things "slip through the cracks", this position is not for you.

Part of this position will include responding to customer service messages via email or chat correspondence. Because of this, it is important that you can write fluently and confidently in English. The customer support emails you get will require your undivided attention.

Most of the time, you will be able to use pre-written templates to respond to customers but you will need to make judgement calls for when to modify the template and also when to not use a template at all and give a custom response.

When giving a custom response to a customer, you will need to clearly understand what they are saying in English and respond according to the guidelines we provide you. You must have perfect English grammatical skills. Before you get the job, we will test those skills so that you don't copy and paste someone else's responses.

It's important that you know how to interact well with people, you're friendly, and you make people feel really comfortable when talking to you.

This being said - most of the work you will be doing will be solitary work that you'll be doing alone online. If you do not like working online or at a computer then this position is not for you.

Finally - this position will require you to be a problem solver, quick learner, and super organized implementor. You should be confident in your research abilities to find tutorials and answers to your questions when you need to.
