JOB OVERVIEW

We're a full-service Australian digital marketing agency looking for a talented paid traffic expert to step in and manage clients' paid Facebook ad accounts.

We have a small team of smart, friendly and dedicated people with a good sense of humour. We all have a high attention to detail so if you like doing 1/2 a job or skipping over details then we're probably not a good fit.

However, if you are looking for a company that will offer you a great role and help you grow and develop your skills then you're in the right place.

We like people asking questions and are happy to provide training when required. Don't be afraid to let us know if there is a better way to achieve a task or if something doesn't make sense. We encourage everyone to be proactive.

:: FACEBOOK ADS MANAGEMENT ::

If you have this certification (or are interested in getting it - we can provide this) that would be an advantage as it represents the baseline of what will be using to gauge campaign performance (which means you know your stuff).

We're a fairly savvy group. We're currently managing Facebook Ads ourselves, and pretty successfully. We need someone who is going to step in and be better at this than we currently are, without needing to too much managing. We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running.
There are 3 key things that we are focused on with this role:

1. Research

You are the expert. You need to know what the best thing to do is in each situation. That means if you don't know something, you have to go learn it. While our team will provide assistance as required you need to take full responsibility for the campaign performance. We have access to training including the DM certification, but we will expect that you will take it upon yourself to go do the research necessary to deliver the best results.

Brainstorm new ad ideas, hooks, angles, copy, strategies.

Create, write, mastermind new ads, copy, image, and video ads using the tools we provide and any other tool you are used to that you can bring to the table.

2. Process

Our long-term goal is scalability. That requires that you work with us to ensure our processes are robust and followed, or suggest changes when you see a better way.

3. Reporting

We are a data-driven organisation. We make decisions based on data above all else. That means you will need to always know the numbers and be looking for the trends and patterns in the data that we don't see. At any given moment, you should be able to provide a general status update on any account as well as recommendations for improvement.

:: DELIVERABLES OF THE ROLE ::

Here is a list of some of the things you'll be expected to do:

- Rock solid communications via our project portal
- Provide weekly updates on performance
- Confidence in writing effective ad copy
- Regular refreshes of ad creative (tied into split tests)
- Design eye and ability to build visual Ads
- Manage daily budgets of Facebook through to creating notifications rules on critical accounts if budget spends drop below a required amount
- Maximise budgets while increasing conversions
- Provide recommendations for budget and display ad changes based on thorough analysis
- Identify opportunities for additional website traffic
- Provide feedback to clients regarding landing page creation and optimisation
- Stay up to date on the latest trends in search marketing – share these trends with the team and be prepared to discuss in weekly meetings.
- Construct recommendations for digital media campaigns, conduct research, implement campaign strategies, extract campaign metrics through analysis and report to internal and external customers
- Conduct campaign performance testing, collect and analyse data to gain insights and identify trends, and implement strategies based on findings with a goal of maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
- Run testing programs and bidding strategies to ensure KPIs are met
Debug and troubleshoot issues with campaign delivery and performance
