Content Writer and Social Media Marketer

We are looking for an experienced Content Writer with an open mind that can write content for online shops and social media sites where the content is a little different. The role includes writing content as well as blogs and product reviews for a college website.

This is a full time position - 40hrs/week

Duties and Responsibilities
- Write reviews on the products as a customer would do.
- Write blog posts
- Write informative articles after researching the subject lightly.
- Needs to have a very open mind.
- Able to write about the product - fact or fiction.
- Write product descriptions and load products (Loading can be taught).
- Excellent writing, spelling and understanding of grammar are a key requirement for the role.
- Building a following to the brand through social media with creative work.
- You will be writing for multiple platforms such as websites, blogs, articles and social media.
- Create and develop interesting blogs from scratch or using real stories.
- Must be creative and able to pitch ideas for stories.
- Must have experience in writing and editing content.
- Manage and create social media accounts
- Responsible for creating and updating daily posts to websites and social media.
- Other general administrative tasks may be required from time to time.


Skills / Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in writing English content for an agency or company..
- Experience with managing social media accounts.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Multitask and manage time efficiently.
- Creative and innovative thinker and planner.
- Self-motivated, self-managed and self-directed.
- Graphic design experience a plus.
