Full Stack Developer (Ecommerce Applications)

Hi there!

I'm in need of a Full-Stack Developer who particularly understands either PHP, Python or Ruby on Rails (Ruby on Rails preferred, ancillary skills may be required), with also a strong understanding of creating and managing either Heroku or Amazon AWS instances. Front-End skills also needed with preferably a strong background in UI/UX design.

In need of someone who's very capable of independently working, meeting deadlines and is able to develop at a continuous pace and is willing to communicate and discuss issues openly where and when they'd possibly arise however also someone who's capable of problem-solving.

My company - Stride Apps - focuses on developing applications for Shopify merchants. Shopify is a platform for individuals and companies interested in creating online stores (Shopify being the Platform). We are looking to undertake a development phase whereby we create a single application to start with the opportunity for long-term multi-app management and development.

We're in need of someone who is able to work Full-Time. The initial application we'll be building will be discussed upon or leading up to the awarding of the position. In your submission we're interested in knowing

#1. If you believe full-heartedly you're capable of creating Shopify Apps or if you'd be able to quickly learn how to.

#2. Previous work that may relate (Ecommerce related applications) - or projects in general that you've done with relation to web-based applications.)

#3. Any additional information that you'd personally like to make mention of with pertinence to your potential hiring.
