PHP Laravel Developer

Looking for a talented, full stack PHP / Laravel web developer. This full-time, on premise position will develop new web applications from the ground up as well as assist with maintenance, new features, framework upgrades, bug fixes and changes for of our existing applications.

The Role
- Building responsive web applications and APIs from the ground-up, primarily using the PHP Laravel
- Assisting with ongoing support (changes) and framework upgrades for current Laravel applications
- Refactoring legacy code
- Developing and updating applications to meet marketing, SEO and UX requirements
- Creation and maintenance of deployment scripts for production and staging environments
- Performing quality control checks on all web work
- Ensuring proper security of code you and other people write

Skills
- 5+ years prior experience building web applications from the ground up
- PHP5 / PHP7 + OO / MVC framework experience
- Laravel 5.3+ experience
- HTML / CSS / SASS / JavaScript / ES6
- Grid CSS Framework such as Bootstrap / Foundation / MaterializeCSS experience
You have experience with modern front-end tools and workflows (Composer, Gulp, NPM, Elixir, Webpack, etc.)
- MySQL & MSSQL & MangoDB experience
- Microsoft Windows & IIS
- Git & Github Version control
- JavaScript Frontend Frameworks/Libraries (jQuery, Vue.js) experience
- Experience with WAMP or Docker (Laradock)
- Experience working with third party APIs
- Ability to write unit and/or functional tests a PLUS
- You enjoy unique programming challenges inherent to integrating with custom platforms
- You have a “can do” attitude
- Strong communication, organization and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and communicate progress throughout each project
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively
