JOB OVERVIEW

As our company grows (quite rapidly) we now have availability for a part time writer. THIS ROLE IS LIKELY TO INCREASE HOURS TO FULL TIME WITHIN 3-6 MONTHS.
I am looking for excellent English skills for regular updates to our blog on Upgrade to see actual info, and for email-based customer service.

Your articles must be original, specific to the themes of vintage and rustic weddings, interesting, accurate and grammatically correct.

Your customer service emails must acknowledge the customer's needs, answer according to our policies and principles, and result in a satisfied customer.

This role will also involve work regarding product descriptions. Please see products currently available in store for examples.

The application process has 4 testing steps; PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU WILL NOT COMPLETE TEST PROCESSES.

1. Submit application, listing previous work, your strengths, availability and goals, and some examples of similar writing. Applications close 21 Jan.
2. Top 10 applications will be sent 3 emails from real customers, and asked to reply according to samples given and our company policies. Submissions close 24 Jan.
3. Top 5 applicants will be sent pics and stats of a product from one of our suppliers, and asked to write aUpgrade to see actual infoword product description for website and facebook post copy to use for advertising OR write a 1000 word blog about DIY vintage or rustic wedding related topic. Submissions close 27 Jan.
4. Top 3 Applicants will be invited for a skype interview.
