This role will have two main components: preparing and organizing documentation from clients to prepare RFPs (Requests for Proposals) for Sourcing team & implementing documentation for factory quoting process. This role is critical to organize client requests and documentation from inception so that all procedures flow through the company in a streamlined, organized manner. This team member should offer great internal support and bring a sense of urgency and accuracy to our client and factory network, following and maintaining our systems and processes, recommending refinements as we move forward.

• one primary aspect of this position is to prepare Sales team documentation for proposal preparation to Sourcing team. This includes creating detailed and correct proposals, maintaining CRM, and other support materials.
• the other primary aspect is implementing Sourcing team documentation for proposal presentation to Factories. This entails formatting documents The Beachwood Way, updating and maintaining all e-paperwork, archiving and project management software.

Outcomes:

Sales Support for Outdoor Orders
• Collaborate with Sales team to identify missing details needed to generate a complete Proposal
• Build proposals utilizing our procedures to include research of client info to populate CRM and inventory assessment
• Marketing support: Powerpoint presentations, transcribing Videos/Voice Recording, blog maintenance
• File management of specification packages internally

Support for Casegood Sourcing
• Preparing RFQ packages to include cover sheet and redacted specifications packages
• File management of specification packages internally
• Formatting and releasing RFQ packages to suppliers with deadlines as advised; eventually improving proposal layout with screenshots / formatting
• Create a new project in project management software based on existing template
• Follow up with suppliers for freight estimates as necessary
• Organizing Bid Analysis per project

Competencies:
• American English
• Familiarity with Google Docs & Google Suites
• MS Office Suite; Excel expertise
• Adobe Suite; Writer expertise
• Knowledge of Imperial & Metric Systems
• Furniture design experience a plus!
