Technical Co-Founder - Programmer - Ruby/Rails, php

Hi -- Ujoin.co is a company that is focused on helping people improve their lives through policy.

In everything we do, we try to give a voice to people who don't have one, so that they can be heard.

We are looking for a technical co-founder to join our team of 4.

ABOUT THE COMPANY
- We are a SaaS company (software as a service) -- our customers are NGOs/nonprofit, community organizations, and businesses.
- We believe in treating people fairly. We are looking for someone to be a teammate, not just an employee. We would prefer to work with you long-term, and to have you earn shares and equity in the company while also getting paid.
- Our team is like our family. We want you to trust us and to be part of our team.
- It's important that we work on UTC-5:00 (or Eastern Time). I know this can be difficult if you're based in the P.I., but hopefully it will be worth it to you.

ABOUT THE JOB
- You would be working alongside our lead developer who will help you get acquainted with our code base. Our application a pretty large and has a lot of lines of code.
- We'll pay you on a weekly or bi-weekly basis or however you prefer to be paid
- We communicate mostly through Skype with weekly meetings to check in through phone or video
- Our application requires in-depth knowledge of logic -- we are not just making a wordpress site -- it is more complicated than that.
