JOB OVERVIEW

We are a rapidly expanding e-commerce online company based out of India/USA. We are looking for someone to take over the management of our social media advertising, which also includes managing our ad accounts.

The applicant needs to be excellent English and demonstrated experience and evidenced success in social media marketing.

This is an ongoing project and will involve a long term contract.

Job Summary

The goal of the Digital Media Coordinator position is to gradually achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy, website traffic and revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of the digital media marketing roadmap.

The Digital Media Coordinator is responsible for having a solid understanding of how each digital media channel works and how to optimise content so that it is engaging on those channels.

The Digital Media Coordinator is also responsible for joining relevant conversations on behalf of the brand and “soft selling” the product by providing support to current and prospective customers.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Digital Media Coordinator will provide the following services:

Planning

- Develop a social media marketing plan for the Company in collaboration with the Company’s marketing director
- Develop ad contents with the product data provided and to find the winning products for the company
- Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics which are to be updated regularly to the marketing director
- Setup daily tasks and activity for all social media pages

General Workload

- Oversee the Company’s digital media accounts’ layout, including the optimization of social media accounts, profiles, images and text
- Research audience preferences and discover current trends
- Develop innovative and creative text, image and video content across the Company’s digital media platforms
- Execute regular posting for marketing promotion in relevant groups and on relevant pages from both official accounts and private accounts
- Design posts to sustain audience curiosity and create buzz around new products and services
- Put together disparate elements of a design created by another professional, such as the logos, icons, photographs and other components necessary for inclusion in digital media
- Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions
- Execute periodic digital media advertising within the agreed parameters and budget stated in the plans and strategies

Managing Clients’ Digital Media

- Undertake social media management for the Company’s customers and clients, as and when required
- Complete projects by coordinating with the Company’s management team.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and on time.

Reporting

- Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans
- Deliver daily reports of product data and testing results via social media
- Deliver monthly reports with statistics and results for each account
- Measure website traffic and monitor SEO

Continuous Quality Improvement

- Periodically audit the Company’s digital media presence, including making recommendations for improvements
- Create an operating procedure for digital media management to increase professionalism and marketability
- Maintain the Digital Media Coordinator database, ensuring that it is populated with the latest information at all times
- Stay up-to-date with changes in all digital platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
- Train co-workers to use digital media in a cohesive and beneficial way, on request
- Evaluation of the execution of the digital media marketing plan and strategies
- Continuous quality improvement in digital media marketing, including support to and coordination with the Company
