JOB OVERVIEW

Manager Required to Hire/Manage a Team For Australian Ukulele Company.

Location - Cebu Based

We are a fast growing Australian ukulele company selling goods worldwide.

We are building a team which will be based in Cebu and will require our team to work together in an office.

The successful applicant will be hiring and managing this team. You will also be required to assess the options for office space in Cebu and we will make a joint decision on which office.

TASKS:
- Hire a social media / influencer marketer asap.
- Manage the above hire and make sure they are hitting their KPIs
- Find office space in Cebu based on our requirements. Likely this will be a co-working space
- Hire 5-6 more talented workers for certain roles by May 1st. Of course we will provide specific instructions on this
- You will be handling all of our customer service from day 1. When we grow to a certain size, we will hire a new customer service agent and you will receive help from them.
- Write SOPs for recurring tasks within the business

HOURS:
You will be required to work 9am-6pm Sydney time with 1 hour for lunch. Monday – Friday. Initially you will work from home until we setup the office space. Then you will be required to work from the office each day.

MANAGING A TEAM:
You must have experience managing a team. We want to create a fun environment where our team can approach the manager if they have questions or concerns. We also need the team to remain focused, consistent and on task…..if they are slacking, you will be the one to tell them. You need to be comfortable in this role, so please consider that before applying for this job.

We will be looking after the team with a team lunch once a week and also occasionally nights out on the town for the team, so you will be required to co-ordinate this, but it should be the fun part!

EXPERIENCE:
- You must have experience managing a team. Some hard decisions will need to be made when it comes to employees, you need to be comfortable managing a team and being able to crack the whip when needed.
- You must have customer service experience both by email and on the phone
- Music interest would also be a plus, since we are selling musical instruments
