Virtual Inventory Operations Specialist

The Inventory Operations Specialist will report directly to the senior management team and will be responsible for carrying out a variety of administrative and clerical functions in support of business operations. The Inventory Operations Specialist’s tasks will primarily consist of:

Inventory Analysis (~90%)
-Navigate web-based modules and liaise with vendors via email and phone to determine product availability
-Update spreadsheet database to reflect product availability
-Update eCommerce storefront to ensure that only available products reach the marketplace

Ad Hoc Administrative Tasks, as required (~10%)

Requirements
-Fast and accurate alphanumeric data entry
-Ability to work effectively under deadlines
-Ability to work efficiently and independently in a virtual role
-Ability to navigate multiple vendor platforms
-Familiarity with common computer applications, including internet browsers, Google Docs, Microsoft Excel, and Skype
-Strong written and verbal English communication skills
-High attention to detail
-Access to a reliable computer and internet connection
-Secondary school education
-1+ years experience in virtual assistant role, or similar

Preferred
-High degree of proficiency in common computer applications, including internet browsers, Google Docs, -Microsoft Excel, and Skype
-Familiarity with eCommerce retail platforms, including the Amazon Marketplace and eBay
-Availability to work weekends
-College degree
-3+ years in a virtual assistant role, or similar
