JOB OVERVIEW

Our company seeks a motivated, detail-oriented virtual assistant for to help us more effectively support our real estate agents with real estate purchase and sale transactions. Real estate experience is a huge plus!

Responsibilities
Our most successful applicants for our administrative assistant position have some or all of the following skills and/or experience:

Job Description – Real Estate Virtual Assistant / Administrative Assistant

1. Primary Objectives
Manage and facilitate real estate short sale transactions
Ensure client and cooperative agent satisfaction
Ensure short sale purchase contracts get to settlement and do not fall through
Complete agency and offer paperwork for company agents

2. Regular Work Activities
Prepare agent paperwork (buyer agreements, listing agreement and offers)
Keep track of the status of each short sale (active/pending/etc)
Keep track who the agent, negotiator, client(s), & buyer's agent is for each short sale
Proactively request and receive a weekly update from short sale negotiators and provide to the clients via phone call and email
Get a weekly update from the short sale negotiators and provide to the buyer's agent via phone call and email
Request additional docs from the buyer's agent if needed for the bank (must be extremely responsive and quick to get necessary documentation)
Request additional docs from the sellers if needed for the bank (often need to call client(s) multiple times to get in touch)
Help the company improve the transaction follow-up systems

4. People Contacts and Interactions
Director of Operations – weekly / as needed
Agent Team – daily / as needed
Administrative Team – daily check-in
Short sale negotiator(s) - weekly at minimum
Cooperative (buyer’s) agents - weekly at minimum
Seller clients – weekly at minimum, sometimes more often

5. Job Application Requirements:

Must be able to work 40 hours per week.
Schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM - 5 PM EST

Compensation determined by level of candidate qualifications ($2 - $5 USD per hr)
