Our Australian based company is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage all financial aspects of our businesses

Our group of companies provides high quality children’s extracurricular and enrichment activities in Australia. With 40 teachers and 8 support staff, our managing director id ready to delegate the management of financial affairs to a Due to recent expansion, our unique and rewarding business is in need of an Finance Manager/Accountant/Bookkeeper to manage and report on the financial affairs of the company.
You will be working from home during Manila business hours, joining 4 other home-based Customer Service/Admin staff in Manila and 3 in Australia, and working closely with the Managing Director on the financial affairs of the company.
We prefer to hire staff on a full time basis, but we anticipate that the work for this role within our group would be a total of 20 hours per week. We can offer a full time role to candidates who are open to assisting other companies within the managing director's business network.
Supervision of all accounts and finances
Review journal entries, maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts weekly
Prepare accounts payable to be paid
Follow up on accounts receivable
Ensure accurate and timely quarterly and yearly financial reporting and variance analysis
Prepare Forecasts and establish budgets and anticipate cashflows
Prepare financial reports and KPIs for Managing Director
Manage BAS, IAS and Superannuation lodgements
Prepare ad hoc and financial reports, analysis, and statistics as required by Managing Director
Support and work with Australian based accountant
Create processes for efficiency your role
Ensure that financial governance and compliance is carried out
Pay and conditions
PHP 40,000/m after probationary period, Up to PHP 50,000+/m with good track record and long service.
8am to 4pm Manila time Mon-Fri
20-40 hours per week
