Experienced Accountant / Bookkeeper for Hawaii management company; Escapia vacation rental software & QuickBooks Online

This will be updated with more details soon. We are a Hawaii based real estate and property management agency. We are in need of a full-time accountant/bookkeeper to be responsible for overseeing all the day to day financial accounting for our businesses. A strong confidence level in accounting and preferably the software tools is ideal.

This job will be recording reservation transactions from our vacation rental system (Escapia), logging and paying bills, using QuickBooks online, weekly and monthly reconciliations; Trust accounting within the Escapia software. The right candidate will be familiar with Escapia, QuickBooks online and have a strong understanding of accounting, reconciling bank statements and tracking vendor payments.

Managing Escapia trust accounting
Reconcile bank accounts
Distribute owner checks / input direct deposit
Input vendor payments into QuickBooks
Reconcile card statements and schedule amex payment
Provide gross revenue amount for office to submit taxes
Complete month-end closing process
Tech-savvy and ability to work in various accounting programs

Main software tools in use are: Escapia, Appfolio and QuickBooks online.
