JOB OVERVIEW

U.S.-based educational consulting company seeks virtual assistant to support customer service, finance/accounting responsibilities, and administrative duties. This position is full-time/40-hrs/wk, with long-term contracts offered after successful completion of a paid introductory period. Successful hire will gain opportunities to expand scope of responsibilities according to applicant’s aptitudes and interests with possibility for future managerial promotion. Applicant will work in a virtual team environment that supports development of high-level written English mastery through direct supervision by U.S.-educated professional writing consultants. Responsibilities include:
+ Financial statement preparation
+ Bank account reconciliation
+ Payroll processing
+ Professional, prompt response to client queries
+ Client account management
+ Client payment troubleshooting
+ Accurate data entry and client account analysis
+ Initiate and implement protocols for enhanced client experience
+ Contribute to ongoing improvement of online client account management system
+ Maintain budgets
+ Calculate variances from budgets and report significant issues to management
+ Maintain orderly accounting filing system
+ Assemble information for external tax accountant and auditors
+ Document and implement administrative processes for improved accuracy and efficiency
+ Coordinate with client relations staff to develop account support issue resolution protocols
+ Collaborate with in-house developer to automate administrative systems and payment reconciliation
+ Manage travel and event booking arrangements

Qualifications include:
+ CPA or equivalent
+ Strong MS Excel skills. Familiarity with Wave Accounting a plus
+ Excellent written communication and customer service skills (English)
+ Initiative to implement automated systems for process improvement, efficiency and long-term growth
+ Attention to detail and accuracy
+ Self-motivated, proactive, reliable, responsible, ethical, trustworthy
+ Ability to coordinate and collaborate remotely with an international team
+ Reliable internet access
+ Client confidentiality
