Software Dev Coordinator

We’re building software in the travel and hospitality industry. This role facilitates an agile development process by coordinating software developers, leading quality assurance and also serves as the liaison between the dev and the Sales & Support teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Lead agile development processes from design, development, testing and deployment.
2. Own the Quality Assurance Upgrade to see actual infovelop testing tools and scripts to help ensure high quality software.
3. Liaison with the sales and support team to ensure that customer needs are being addressed properly. And the product design is scalable, resilient, high performing and secure.
4. Help Implement the web infrastructure from hosting, backups and networking.
5. Periodically join meetings with clients to better understand customer needs and help discuss technical aspects of the product.

JOB SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

1. Number one skill needed is strong attention to detail. Need somebody who can spot issues early on, before they reach customers.
2. Number two skill needed is a strong sense of responsibility. Somebody who has to be followed-up several times is not a good fit for this role.
3. Able to complete Key Performance Indicators for the role. These KPIs will be defined and reviewed constantly and will be agreed upon by all parties involved.
4. Good background in web development and agile principles. Welcomes frequent stand-up meetings, sprint reviews, retrospectives, etc.
5. Capable of quickly adapting to changes in scope.
6. Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, frameworks and methodologies. Has initiative and is very trustworthy.
7. Need someone who can take ownership of tasks and is able to commit to regular meetings and deliverables.
8. Is a good team player, able to communicate effectively and discuss the team's vision, methods, priorities and trade-offs.
