Linux OS & Scripting Expert Needed

We have a need for a linux admin with strong scripting experience to support a new development project based around on raspberry pi nodes, with configuration controlled centrally. The nodes will boot and automatically operate using this configuration, so we need someone able to customise the bootup and operation of a raspberry pi, setup the central server and create and transfer configs to the Pi.

As well as this initial development effort, there will be an ongoing development of features and support - so we are looking for a full time employee (30/40h pw)


** REQUIRED SKILLS ** (Please dont apply unless you can demonstrate practical experience in these)

- Linux OS admin (Raspberry Pi very useful)
- Linux scripting (likely Python)

Aside from this - we are a web development and services company so any relevant experience will be a bonus.


** Working Environment **
You will work remotely, covering core business hours. Some overlap with the UK will be required to catch up and answer any questions you’ll have.

Team collaboration is done through a number of tools such as Google Apps, Slack, Basecamp, Tickets. The core technical team are based in Serbia, with UK Headquarters (Sales, Finance, Account Management). We also have a number of development partners based across the globe

You will be part of our Technical Services team and will be working very closely with me (Technical Director) so will have lots of opportunity to learn new skills.
