Experienced Content Editor (Long-term Position)

JOB BRIEF:

We are looking for an enthusiastic editor who is an extremely meticulous & detail-oriented perfectionist to join our strong creative team. You will work closely with our customer care representative and our writers from Monday to Friday. Payment is done through PayPal (PayPal fees are accommodated by you).

Our ideal candidate is a team-spirited, skilled and imaginative person who is able to meticulously proofread and edit high-quality written content on various topics with regard not only to the grammar but with the specific client requirements for each piece. If you can grasp project requirements quickly and offer valuable insight, we’d like to meet you.

Once hired, salary increase is possible for editors who perform well consistently based on company standards and peer evaluation.

RESPONSIBILITIES / REQUIREMENTS:

->Proofread/edit 4000 words per workday on different topics and different types of content (blogs, e-books, web content, etc.). We’re flexible, if you want to work part-time (less than 4000 words per workday with the respective partial salary). Please indicate this in your application if you can work on fewer words per day and state how many.The payment is done per word which means, that if you edit fewer words you will be paid respectively less and if you edit more words, then you will be paid more, again depending on the number of words you edit.

->Proofreading and editing written content for various media (e.g. blog posts, website content, newsletters, etc.) with readers' and clients' needs in mind
->Utilize SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach when given as a task
->Ability to conduct thorough research and fact-check information;
->Proven experience as an editor/proofreader (in English) for a publication or an agency
->Proven experience as a content writer, copywriter or a related role;
->Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills in English;
->Ability to diligently follow deadlines;
