We have a stream of long term (full time) work for dependable, skilled Rails developer who has outstanding communication skills and solid time management skills.

THE JOB - FULL TIME
We work heavily with native unit tests, then we do some functional tests. We don’t use Rspec for this particular project.

We build API driven solutions, and then have a rich front Upgrade to see actual infoom the front end perspective you need to be comfortable enough with javascript to follow our patterns and occasionally trouble shoot them, and assist with bug fixes.

Tasks can range from test-driven development developing methods for our models, to integrating javascript plugins by connecting them to our API’s (and potentially building some of the API’s).

We start with small tasks and work up over time. You’ll be working with people who have experience building world class sites and award winning products.



REQUIREMENTS: be willing to learn and adapt.


- Be willing to adapt to different coding styles and make sure your code is easy for even beginners to read. This doesn't mean your ideas won't be welcome, it means we have to make the code work in a real world environment where you may not be the only person working on it.

IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE
You should have the ability to read through (mostly commented) code to understand how it works and how it fits together.

You will need the ability to work with GitHub using a graphical client or have the willingness to learn.

You don't need perfect English - but you need strong communication skills - ask questions intelligently, speak up proactively, and you must be willing and able to proofread and comment your code clearly.

Be able to work independently but also willing to speak up quickly if you are Upgrade to see actual infot expectations about when you will work.
