JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to manage customer queries and attract potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services. You will also be asked to process orders, modifications, and escalate complaints across a number of communication channels. To do well in this role you need to be able to remain calm when customers are frustrated and have experience working with computers.

Customer Service Representative Responsibilities:
• Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
• Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
• Communicating with customers through various channels including:
o Phone, email, Olark (live website chat)
• Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
• Knowing our products inside and out so that you can answer questions.
• Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests.
• Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaints.
• Resolving product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
• Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
• Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.

Additional Responsibilities:
• Assisting with education, employment and other verifications
• Answering calls and directing the callers to the right person within the company
• Helping to create a well thought out customer support process

Customer Service Representative Requirements:
• High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent.
• Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
• Comfortable using computers.
• Fluent in English
• Experience working with customer support.
• Ability to work Eastern Standard Time hours

Nice to have’s:
• Fluent in French or Spanish
• Has some experience with Django

• Must own a PC/Laptop
• Must have high speed internet connection
• A quite place to work (No background noises)
• Ready to work 8am-5pm EST (Philippine time – 8pm – 5am)
• EXCELLENT written and verbal communication skills
• Confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities
