A fast-growing company seeks a talented and hard-working professional to lead the company’s Operations & Support team in the Philippines.
The ideal candidate will mobilize and manage the Operations & Support team to meet business goals and objectives, while also motivating a high-quality, client-centric mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement office systems and an equipment procurement strategy
- Grow and maintain office staff by recruiting, hiring and training new employees
- Design and implement office policies by establishing standards and procedures, analyzing results, and making necessary adjustments and improvements
- Oversee operations by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results
- Coach, manage, discipline and fire employees, as needed
- Maintain regular, clear, and open communication with upper management
- Communicate with clients and vendors, as needed
- Assist in the preparation of payroll and handle payroll-related administrative responsibilities
- Contribute to team effort and promote a client-centric mindset
Required Skills:
- Ability to train individuals toward goal achievement, while serving as a role model for others
- Excellent communication skills with internal staff, clients, suppliers & management
- A proactive mindset and problem-solving skills, including the ability to anticipate and address potential issues before they become problems
- Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines
- Impeccable organizational skills and proven ability to analyze and improve work processes
- Work well under pressure and excel in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, while maintaining a productive, positive, and professional demeanor
- Previous experience in the language translation industry is a plus, but not required
