Online Marketing Specialist

Permanent role, 20 - 40 hours per week. Starting with 20 hours (Australian afternoon hours), with likelihood to increase to 30 and 40 hours per week in a few months.

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a highly capable and qualified Online Marketing Specialist to be a valued part of our small professional team.
The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills in writing and image selection/design.
This position will work directly with the business owners to coordinate, plan and implement marketing, campaigns that attract new clients and turn them into brand advocates.
It will suit someone looking for a permanent ongoing job 20 to 40 hrs per week. As this is a permanent position, we are looking for a minimum 2 year commitment from you.


GENERAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Good conversational and written English
Demonstrated online content writing for blogs, newsletter/email, social media updates and web content.
Demonstrated experience and a passion for social media (i.e., Facebook, Google Plus, Twitter, Youtube).
Demonstrated experience with mail chimp or other email platform for email marketing.
Database management and basic coding for emails (using wysiwyg html editor).
Visual flair and graphic design skills for creating images for social media and email marketing (canva, photoshop, etc) suited to the Australian market.
Wordpress content management including page creation (using drag and drop editor).
Online monitoring, reporting and competitor research (using tools including Facebook insights, Google insights, Hootsuite)
A solid understanding of white-hat search engine optimization techniques.
Ability to distinguish and behave with a good sense of decorum; acting as a brand ambassador is absolutely required.
Ability to work effectively under deadlines and juggle several assignments simultaneously.
Strong technical background with advanced computer skills.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Aptitude to develop and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Good self-management capabilities and strong interpersonal skills.

• 20 hours, increasing to 30 or 40 dedicated Hours Per Week. The job requires good clear thinking, focus and commitment from you
• Nice Australian and flexible hours. Generally 1.30 - 5.30 pm Brisbane time initially while 20 hours per week, then morning time added as hours increase.

REWARDS AND PAY
Base salary of 150 to 220 PHP per hour. Based on a 20 hour week (4 hours per weekday), from 13,000 to 19,000 PHP depending on experience. Plus :
• 10 days paid Australian National holidays,
• 10 days paid leave (Sick/annual leave),
• Thirteenth month bonus.
