Back-End Web Developer (Home based, 40 hrs / week)

We seek an experienced backend developer, skilled in PHP and MySQL, familiar with LAMP environment. We offer a long-term contract for home-based (remote) developer. Suitable candidate should be able to work 40 hours a week, join scheduled VoiP meetings and keep up with given deadlines.

Because of the nature of remote work, the candidate must have excellent communication skills: Both spoken and written, with the ability to understand and also explain complex ideas and thoughts via text and verbally.

Education: University education (Bachelor's degree or higher) in relevant field advantageous, but not a condition.

Required experience: 4+ years full time web developer.

Skill and knowledge:
-English (Upper intermediate (B2) or higher), experience with regular VoIP meetings with non-native speakers is advantageous.
-PHP7: Expert. Able to read, understand and create clean, reusable code. OOP proficient.
-Experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel, Nette or other) required.
-JavaScript (Angular and / or React to your advantage!).
-MySQL Database: design, complex queries, optimization.
-Bitbucket, Github for code versioning, Composer for dependency management.
-LAMP environment.
