JOB OVERVIEW

Our established U.S.A. based company is looking for talented writers to create, rewrite and blog about viral content such as videos, photos, news stories etc.

Do you ever visit LittleThings.com, Buzzfeed.com, Godvine.com, Viralnova.com or other viral blog sites?
Do you spend time on Facebook liking, sharing and creating viral posts such as videos and articles?
Do you understand the viral content marketing strategy of drawing in people with a great headline and keeping them there with an amazing, engaging article or video?

...if so read on.

We are currently looking for talented content writers for our Wordpress based blogs. Our sites are based around Viral content just like you see on the sites I mentioned above and if you “Get It” we would love to see what you can do.

You will be writing daily blog posts on our sites that need to be 400 to 1,000 words each and will include a catchy Headline and content that will keep people clicking and sharing.

What kind of articles? Just take a look LittleThings.com, Buzzfeed, Godvine.com and Viralnova..com to get an idea of what we are looking for and the style.

We take existing viral content and “Re-Blog” about them so you don’t always have to create original content but YOU have to be original. You need to be good at telling stories and keeping people interested to know more.

Let me tell you what we are NOT looking for. If you write articles that read like a “Book Report” this isn’t going to be for you. We are looking for editorial blog posts...not fact based articles.

We will need to be an expert in English writing, graphic manipulation (photos, images, memes) as this is part of the content curation process.

Knowledge of how to create blog posts using Wordpress is a must. Each day you will do 4 to 6 blog articles and post them to our social media pages using the right kinds of titles as mentioned above.

Some of the categories we focus on are Pets / Dogs / Family / Parenting / DYI / Food / Trending and others.

Our audience is mostly women so you must understand how to write to that audience and not just write but connect. We want you to provoke emotions with our readers so they like / share / comment on our posts.

We will be sending chosen applicants a small test to evaluate their skills in this area and have you write one or two blog posts. We in turn will offer to pay your for the test if you follow the tasks as described.

We are looking for long-term work so if you bounce around a lot from project to project and are easier distracted it’s not going to work. We will invest a lot of time in you and expect the same in return.

After the test we can talk about full/part time employment. This job is on your own schedule but we do require you to work at set schedule for the most part and you will need to use our time-tracking systems to help you maximise the time you work for us.

We will also need to Skype regularly to discuss content and to work together in the creative process, your ideas matter and in addition we will discuss bonuses for content that goes viral.
