Experienced Magento Store Manager / Developer wanted for high growth video shopping startup

We are Wowzr (wowzr.com.au) – an online marketplace that specializes in selling unique and innovative products with a “wow factor” via entertaining and informative video demonstrations that we promote and advertise on social media.

We are a high growth start-up; having had 100% sales growth 2 years in a row and are in the process of pitching to investors to further accelerate our growth.

We currently sell in Australia and the UK/Europe and therefore need to manage the customer service across the different time zones and locations. Most of our team are based in our office in Barcelona, Spain.

We are looking for an experienced Magento store manager / developer to manage the following:

- Upload and manage products, categories, CMS pages, Blogs etc
- Build and test landing pages and funnels (using venus theme page builder or directly coding pages)
- Website and conversion rate optimisation (using tools like google analytics, hotjar, optimizely)
- On-site SEO
- Project managing and communicating with external development agency to deliver on development and site improvements
- Possibly developing smaller front-end changes yourself
- Monitoring and managing connection with site to external warehouse systems (order export and tracking/inventory import) to ensure operational processes are seamless
- Deploying and managing additional functionality and extensions such as MailChip and auto-responders, abandoned cart recovery, lead magnet programs
- Improve site usability and merchandising to improve cross-selling and increase average order values, conversion rate, repeat purchase and referrals.
- Ensuring checkout process is seamless across all devices and is at the forefront of technology
- Ensure PCI compliance is maintained at all times.
- Other tasks related to the management, development and improvement of the website

We are looking for someone who has the following experience and skills:

- At least 3 years experience with Magento ecommerce platform (either as a developer or store manager)
- Web development experience preffered (HTML, PHP, CSS)
- Experiencing developing and building landing pages
- Experience with Mail Chimp, XTENTO and other magento extensions and integrations
- Experience and project managing web developers
- SEO knowledge and experience
- Experience with website usability, merchandising and conversion rate optimisation
- Mobile first approach
- Advanced written and spoken English
- Available to work during European business hours
