This role is for a permanent full-time Financial Controller at PPR Media Pty Ltd. The target start date is Tuesday August 1, 2017.

PPR Media Pty Ltd is fast growing Australian based performance marketing company specialising in paid online advertising. PPR Media is a true virtual business with contractors working in Israel, Australia, Bulgaria, Serbia and beyond. The range of duties for the Financial Controller will be broad and varied. This will be challenging and rewarding role working directly with one of the company founders. Flexibility is required on working hours to communicate with clients and suppliers in Europe and USA. Your remuneration growth will be commensurate with your effort and achievement.

The role will evolve over time. The successful candidate will be required to undertake support activities for the executive and team. Together you will work with the Chief Financial Officer to streamline processes, develop policies, kpis and shape the role to result in a highly efficient finance function. You will be required to attend routine weekly and monthly meetings and be available each day to talk with the financial controller. You will likely have the opportunity to undertake training and professional development within working hours.

The successful candidate will share an office in Makati City with 6 other accountants. These accountants are employed by our Business Advisor & Tax Accountant, with whom we have a very close relationship. This will provide a social aspect to the role and some accountability.

For the main you will be required to take Australian public holidays. The Financial Controller will be reporting directly to The Chief Financial Officer. The role will include tasks listed below in addition to supporting the executive to fulfill their roles.

monthly financials - complete audit level reconciliations
manage debtors and creditors
streamline fx management and accounting - debtor and creditor entry, record fx gains/losses
bas preparation
Au tax compliance and manage tax return submission
improve accounting efficiency
cashflow forecasting
budgeting and variance analysis
accounting software selection and setup
more detailed P&L - break out invoices for each supplier - generate P&L by vertical and also by supplier/customer
fx management (cost centre analysis)
arrange creditor payments
credit exposure management, credit policy and management
KPI reporting - accounting ratios
amex points reconciliation
gst management
general ledger maintenance
bookkeeping and data entry management
amex credit management
Executive Scorecard management
exception reporting - large one off bills
maintain up to date register of recurring monthly payments - amount, currency, credit card ref
prepare board packs and monthly and quarterly financials
exception reporting – expenses
daily summary financial reporting
