JOB OVERVIEW

Are you a Wordpress expert who already has experience building great looking pages using "drag and drop" themes like OptimizePress, Divi, or Thrive Content Builder?

(Please note, you must already have experience with tools like these to be considered for this position.)

Still reading? Great! Sounds like you’ve got the experience we may be looking for!

Our company (currently with 6 full time team members) is expanding once again.

This open position is for a full-time WordPress design expert.

Working with our copywriter and marketing team, you’ll be responsible for building great looking sales pages, maintaining the blog, building sales funnels, creating lead generation pages, and more.

We use a combination of tools to do this, including OptimizePress, Divi, and Thrive Content Builder.

While we do offer training, we do require you have experience with at least one of these tools (or another drag and drop style builder).

You should have an eye for design, and be able to judge how big a font should be, what font to use, where to place graphics, which layouts to use, etc.

In addition, you should have a good grasp of CSS. Especially since it’s those CSS enhancements that really take page from looking like a “generic template” to something that looks professional and is easy for the user to view.

Think about the work experience you have. Have you already...

Used drag and drop builders like Divi, Thrive, or OptimizePress?

Built pages and customized elements on those pages using CSS?

Been given a page of copy and have built an fantastic looking page from it?

If you have the experience above. We probably need know about you!

But first...

Do you prefer to work on projects that aren’t just dictated to you, but require you to come up with solutions?

Have people told you how they wish they could be as motivated as you are?

Do you like using WordPress so much that you often find yourself learning new things about it in your spare time?

Do you love to learn the latest techniques in web design?

Do you like to work under tight deadline?

Do you love working with other top performers because they help you raise your own game?

Are you willing to pitch in where you are needed... even if it’s just for a simple HTML email template?

Are you willing to learn new skills and take additional training courses?

Do you enjoy creating clean, lightweight, responsive pages?

Are you comfortable reporting your progress to the team on a daily basis?

Are you still reading?

OK... NOW we have something to talk about.

As you read above, our company continues to grow. We’re a tight-knit team that relies on each other to get the job done on time and on budget. We’re also very supportive of one another and are constantly helping each other get through any obstacles we face.

We’re motivated.

We’re driven.

We know our stuff.

That’s why it’s so important you know yours too.

We also believe in constantly improving our systems. We believe, “Just because it works, doesn’t mean it can’t work better.” That’s part of the reason we write such long job ads. They tend to filter most people out. We only work with people who are committed to following through and finishing what they start!

Some questions you may have...

Is this a full-time job?
Yes it is. We expect a full 40 hour work week (we use TimeDoctor to track time.)

Do I have to work certain hours?
There are certain times where you may need to meet with team members to discuss the project (normally these occur between 8PM and 2AM PHT). For the most part, you have control over your schedule. We allow everyone on our team to work when they’d like (within reason). We ask they fill out a calendar with their work hours so we know when they’ll be available, but those hours are pretty much up to you. There are times, however, when a particular project needs attention and then will ask you to adjust those hours. Fortunately, we are very organized so those times are rare.

What’s the salary?
Our base salary starts at 43,000 PHP/month but we are willing to go higher for the right person. If you have experience that requires more, please let us know.

Do you honor 13th Month?
Yes we do.

Have you worked with Filipinos before?
Yes. We currently have full-time Filipinos on our team. The majority of which have been a part of the team for years.

How will you communicate with me?
We use Slack, Skype, and Asana. We do offer training in these tools if you are not familiar with them.

Can I work for others?
No. We are a committed team so we ask that you commit to only working with us.

How do I apply?
Glad you asked!

How to Apply:

Step 1:
Make the subject of your response, “I LOVE WORDPRESS” and let us know your favorite breakfast food in the first paragraph.

Step 2:
Include your resume with relevant experience.

Include a minimum of 8 links to *LIVE* WordPress pages you’ve worked on and give us a little detail as to what specifically you did on each page. Did you do the complete page? Did you improve upon an existing design? (This is your first impression, so make sure you give it your best shot!)

Step 3:
Let us know what marketing platforms you’ve already worked with. (For example, if you've integrated with InfusionSoft, Clickbank, etc.)

Step 4:
Ask us any questions you’d like. The more questions you have, the better. (We love people who aren't afraid to ask questions!)

Thanks for your interest, we look forward to hearing from you!
