Wordpress and Ecommerce Superstar Wanted for Global Permaculture Design Organization

LONG-TERM JOB OPPORTUNITY. (Full-Time Position, P 20,000 ($400 USD+ per month) salary to start, P 24,970 ($500 USD+ per month after trial period).

Business: Permaculture Design is the study of designing farms, homes, businesses, and lifestyles for sustainability. It incorporates systems and techniques that work with nature, employing the best of traditional wisdom and modern, clean, energy-conserving technologies.

We are one of the leading Permaculture organizations world-wide, and we are creating a new website.

The website we are building will be a multi-vendor e-commerce marketplace, blog, and a centralized listing directory for professionals, courses listing, and events listing world-wide. We need each of these sections built-out and working before we launch the site.

This theme runs WooCommerce, including WooCommerce Bookings plugin (which allows users to create listings for bookable products like rentals or consulting time at an hourly/daily rate). https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-bookings/
The Multi-Vendor functions (site users can register as vendors, then they can sell their own items through their own store page on the site) are enabled with the WC Vendors PRO plugin https://www.wcvendors.com/product/wc-vendors-pro/
We have the website domain hosted on GoDaddy with Managed WordPress. The theme and plugins have been activated and the site is now on a staging platform (not live).

We need a talented person who is very good with WordPress and E-Commerce, who can build out the multi-vendor theme and store pages, and make sure that all of the functions we need are enabled and working (users can add their profiles, professionals can be contacted by site users finding their profiles, e-commerce store tested through to payment methods, blog set up and ready to go, other key categories and pages built and ready to use).

We need a hard-working person that wants to find a permanent home with a great company for many years of happy employment. Someone who is kind, patient, who can think independently, who can come up with good ideas, who is a good researcher, and can make good decisions and offer suggestions about what needs to happen next with regard to customizing the website for our needs.

You must be available to attend occasional Skype meetings on Saturdays or Sundays between 8:00am-10:00am Central USA time (9:00pm-11:00pm Philippines time). We will try to limit the need for these meetings by primarily using email and online tools for communication (Slack/Trello), but you must be available during this window of time if we wish have a face-to-face meeting.

Excellent English speaking and writing skills required. SEO skills and Google Analytics experience preferred. Social Media campaign management skills preferred.

After a successful trial period, we plan on taking the right person into our organization permanently, full-time, with additional pay and benefits (Philhealth, Pag-ibig, SSS, 13th Month Bonus). Continuing work will include launching the above website, and working on developing other WordPress sites and E-Commerce projects.
