QA Tester / Analyst / Test Plan Writer Wanted for Immediate Full Time Position

We are looking for an experienced, full-time (minimum of 30 hours per week) QA Tester/Analyst to help our company automate and improve the quality of our testing process for a custom developed website that is continuously undergoing new development and change. Eventually the processes put in place will be used across multiple projects.

We will be using Test Lodge for recording and tracking test cases and recording the results of test runs.

Qualified candidates must possess the following:

• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Have a good work ethic and should be detail oriented
• Experience in QA testing and analysis websites on both desktop and mobile devices
• Experience in writing and executing test plans for websites

Daily duties will include:

• Writing individual test cases for website features based on requirement and spec documents.
• Creating test cases for existing website features that are not fully documented by exploring an existing website’s functionality and creating test cases and suites based on the screens and workflow.
• Entering all test cases in Test Lodge
• Group test cases into “test suites” which is nothing more than a term Test Lodge uses to represent a group of tests cases to be ran together.
(Test cases represent tests for individual functions, and test suites represent tests for an entire feature).
• Execute plans and document bugs
• Log bugs into our issue tracking software, qdPM

Additional Information:

• This is a full-time position, minimum of 30 hours per week
• Candidates must be available to communicate via Skype during working hours
• Workday hours are flexible, but we prefer someone who can adjust their working time as close to 8am – 4pm EST as possible.
• All candidates who meet the criteria for the job will be asked to perform a short test to demonstrate their ability to handle this position
