Senior Technical Writer

We are looking for a full-time technical writer with knowledge and experience in the software industry to join our team. You will be working from home, collaborating with our onshore team.

The role will primarily be writing technical reports. Information will be based on information gathered from interviews (transcribed report and recorded file) that we conduct and from your own research. You will also be listening to the recorded interviews to ensure that the information you will collect will be accurate.

You will be working directly for a director of the company and be provided comprehensive training. This role will suit a fast learner who is able to grasp new technologies quickly.

Requirements:
Excellent written English skills
2 years experience working in a writing or software development role (preferred)
Basic hands-on software development experience (a must!)
Experience in writing reports
The ability to work independently
A keen ability to learn and try new things
Must provide own computer equipment and internet connection.
Internet connection must be at least 2 mbps (capable for Skype and Upgrade to see actual info downloads)
Academic writing experience is a plus

Benefits:
Salary is between Php30,000 to Php40,000 per month (depends on experience)
13-month pay
20 days paid annual leave (accrued)
