JOB OVERVIEW

Looking for a highly experienced Certified Medical Biller to assist in reconciling insurance, AR follow up and patient payments and resolving account disputes. Must have strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical software, CPT-4 coding, ICD-9 & ICD-10 coding, CM1500 forms and UB92 forms and Microsoft Office.
Must have experience with various medical billing software, charge creation, ICD and CPT verification, payment posting, denial handling, account receivables, revenue cycle and practice management
Also provide assistance as a Virtual Assistant to the office for miscellaneous tasks.
• Review medical records & claim submissions
• EOB Payment posting or refunds payments issues
• ERA downloading & posting
• Monthly check balancing and closing
• Follow-up with insurance companies for denied claims
• Clearing Rejections.
• Appealing denied Claims.
• Adhere to HIPAA Guidelines

Must be available to work 5 days a week 8 AM - 5 PM in Pacific Standard Time (subtract 8 hours to calculate Manila Time).
