JOB OVERVIEW

About our company: We are a small business consulting company that has a large client base of business owners in which we consult on a day to day basis.

Our company services over 1000 business owners per month. We have over 30 employees throughout the US and over 10 in the Philippines. We continue to grow and have doubled in prior years tracking to continue growth at a very rapid pace.

Our hiring philosophy is to hire team members that have talent then nurture the growth and learning ongoing. We want all our team members to love and take pride in their work.

The position:

We are looking to add a new team member for the long term position of Business Advisor. The Business Advisor helps business owners through an online system we have created to establish business credit reports and get business financing.

Consultations occur on the phone, by email and by chat. We average at least 10 phone calls inbound and outbound per hour. We work from a software system called Zendesk where you will solve tasks, email and make phone calls.

We will provide the training on the small business consulting but ask that the applicant have the following base skills:

-Great communication skills including the ability to make a caller comfortable and confident their questions are answered

-Speaks clear English with little accent. Please provide your voice recording. This position requires a lot of talking on the phone and the callers are expecting a high level of professionalism, problem-solving and consulting.

-The ability to work as a team. This is a very important part of our company culture. We believe in being courteous, helpful, and kind to our customers and our team members.

-Looking for a self-solver. The ability to take ownership of a task and see it to completion instead of just passing it off.

-Background using Zendesk is helpful but not required

-We rely heavily on using our online systems so a solid comfort in using computer systems or figuring them out.

-Looking for someone that feels they are highly efficient and can work quickly and efficiently

-Ability to write detailed professional emails in English.

-Quiet work environment that allows no background noise during calls.

-Work hours are from 9am to 6pm Eastern Standard Time(with an hour off uncompensated) Monday - Friday excluding all major US holidays.

-We do offer an additional 5 paid days off (8 hours) in addition to the major holidays.

The team member hired will need to have their own internet service, dependable computer and headset. We don't supply Upgrade to see actual info summary, we are looking to hire someone that is looking for a long term career with our company. Someone that wants to continue to learn and grow, who feels they are efficient and a self-solver. Someone who enjoys talking with clients, helping them succeed, assuring them and communicating in a way that they can understand.
