JOB OVERVIEW

An Australian CEO requires a dynamic person for the role of fulltime Virtual Assistant. This role will involve tasks relating to both his business and personal affairs.

The CEO’s main business interests are in Australia within the construction industry however he is currently looking to diversify his business interests to other industries. The suitable VA would be a person that can quickly come up to speed with the business operations and manage the day to day tasks to free up the time of the CEO.

His business also has an office in the Philippines and while the CEO is in the Philippines he would require the VA to travel with him. There would also be a requirement to conduct local market research within the Philippines so this role could involve travel and business dealings within the Philippines.

The suitable candidate must have the following:
- Exceptional English skills, both spoken and written;
- A confident person who can easily engage with strangers;
- Accounting and business skills;
- An eye for detail ensuring everything is filed correctly and documents are proofread for mistakes;
- Exceptional organiser
- Ability to schedule labour and materials;
- Is an expert with MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Located in the Philippines, preferably close to Angeles or Manila;
- University Educated
- Fast internet connection
- Work from a quiet environment that you can make phone calls to clients and staff without background noise.
- Available for a full time position.

Experience with the following with be a great advantage:
- MYOB;
- MS Project or similar scheduling software;
- Evernote;
- Basic CAD Operation;
- Previously held a position within the construction or manufacturing industry.

Some of the daily tasks could include:
- Researching potential business leads;
- Obtaining contact information for potential clients;
- Read, review and action the CEOs emails;
- Speak to Australian and Filipino staff via telephone as required;
- Create job advertisements;
- Run job schedules
- Advise clients of their current lead times;
- Book in installations with clients;
- Provide required information to the staff so they can complete the work.
- Setup new jobs
- Maintain contact lists
- Take part in daily production meeting, create meeting minutes and action tasks to the correct staff or departments. Follow up to ensure the tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Liaise with different departments to ensure all tasks are being actioned and completed in the required time.
